She started out as a midwestern kid from Ohio, where her love for cinema developed while working as a movie theater projectionist.

 

She built on that foundation by earning her BA in Mass Media Communication from The University of Akron and eventually her MFA in Cinema Art + Science from Columbia College Chicago. 

 

She currently works in physical production on acclaimed television series, including "Hacks," "Bel-Air," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." Independently, she produces and directs her own narrative short films and documentaries.
