SYNOPSIS: Julia, a young mother, has just climbed out onto the second story fire escape of her apartment building.  It's a cold Chicago night and a pack of cigarettes lay conveniently on the stairs, beckoning her.  It's here that a young neighbor steals a brief moment with Julia from her stale routine.
